CAREY OLSEN: Citizens’ Advice Guernsey officially opens new office with plaque unveiling

Press Release from Carey Olsen, Friday 13 June, 2025.

Citizens’ Advice Guernsey officially opened its new office with a plaque unveiling on Wednesday 4 June 2025.

After 23 years based at the Bridge, Citizens’ Advice relocated to the headquarters of local charity Grow Hub at Les Petits Quartier Vinery, Coutanchez, St Sampson, GY2 4GE in January this year to improve accessibility for staff and clients.

Carey Olsen Guernsey managing partner, Tom Carey, said: “Carey Olsen is proud to have sponsored the official opening of Citizens’ Advice Guernsey’s new office, having supported the work of the charity since the firm advised on its establishment in Guernsey in 1978. It is important to us that all islanders have access to legal advice, and so we are also pleased to offer fortnightly legal clinics in collaboration with Citizens’ Advice.”

Carey Olsen Guernsey partner Tim Bamford added: “The Citizens’ Advice legal clinics provide an opportunity for our expert lawyers to assist clients who could benefit from advice on legal matters, on areas including employment, property and wills.”

Ali Marquis, CEO of Citizens Advice Guernsey, said: “We extend our thanks and gratitude to Carey Olsen for their dedication in sponsoring our official opening event in our new offices at the Grow Hub. Last week’s opening is a testament to the power of collaboration and the positive impact that strong community partnerships can have.”
