CHINA: China and UK to boost cooperation in sustainability, digital, green finance

China’s commerce minister, Wang Wentao, has called for increased dialogue and cooperation between China and the United Kingdom (TADAWUL:4280) in areas such as sustainability, digital development, green initiatives, and finance. The statement was released by the commerce ministry on Tuesday.

Wang’s comments were made during a meeting with Jonathan Reynolds, Britain’s Secretary of State for Business and Trade, in London on Monday. The statement further noted that the commerce minister urged both nations to support the multilateral trading system.

Additionally, Wang assured that enterprises funded by Britain are welcome to continue their investments and business operations in China. This move is seen as an effort to strengthen economic ties and promote mutual growth between the two countries.
