CAREY OLSEN: Carey Olsen advises LongGame Ventures on launch of longevity biotech fund

Press Release from Carey Olsen, Thursday 20 March, 2025.

Carey Olsen has supported LongGame Ventures, a first-time fund manager, on the successful launch of its longevity biotech fund, LongGame Fund I L.P.

LongGame Fund I L.P. targets early-stage biotech startups with tech solutions for meaningful prolonging of life. Beyond funding, the initiative aims to bridge biotechnology and decentralised science, fostering collaboration between traditional life sciences and emerging decentralised technologies.

LongGame Fund I L.P. was established as a Jersey Limited Partnership, highlighting Jersey’s growing appeal as a jurisdiction of choice for first-time fund managers. The Carey Olsen investment funds team advising LongGame Ventures comprised partner Christopher Griffin and associates Vera Cai and Anna Richardson.

Christopher Griffin commented: “We were pleased to help the LongGame team get their first fund away; they have a great offering and, thanks to the Island’s JPF regime, they were able to get to market quickly.”

Chloe Northcott, head of operations at LongGame Ventures commented: “Working with the Carey Olsen team was an absolute pleasure. As a first-time fund manager leading the operations, their support was invaluable throughout the entire fund formation process. Their collaborative, friendly approach made all the difference. I look forward to working with them again and building a long-term partnership for our future funds!”
