EU: EU tax advisors want e-invoicing regulation

The European Tax Adviser Federation (ETAF) has called for the European Commission to introduce more regional regulation of e-invoicing to promote security and better adoption. The strategy aims to boost e-invoicing adoption by integrating it into ERP systems, ensuring efficient transmission through interoperable infrastructures, and exploring its use in VAT and ESG reporting.

ETAF isa European umbrella organisation for 220 000 tax professionals from France, Germany, Belgium, Romania, Hungary, Austria and Croatia.
