Carey Olsen has advised Digicel Group Holdings Limited (“DGHL”) on the strategic divestment of its majority shareholding in Cricket Sporting Investments Ltd.
Cricket Sporting Investments Ltd. is the holding company of CPL Limited, which is the operating entity behind the Caribbean Premier League (“CPL”). Founded in 2013, the CPL is the Caribbean’s premier Twenty20 cricket competition.
The Carey Olsen Bermuda corporate team advising DGHL comprised Steven Rees Davies as responsible partner and Alex Collis as lead counsel, with support from associates Thomas Connor and Aleeza Dulaney. Partner Kyle Masters and associate Matthew Rhodes also advised DGHL in respect to shareholder arrangements as part of the sale process.
